Let's drive up North, to Norway:





Volvo F 12 Royal(*) 6x2/2 tractor (modified Tekno model) and Istrail 3-axle extendable dropside low bed semi-trailer (modified HiMoBo model) loaded with a Mercedes-Benz/AMG G65 4x4/2 cross-country car (Siku model) and 5x24" Amiblu schedule 80 pipes for hydro-electric penstock (modified Tekno load),





Note (*): The F12 Royal vehicle is a limited series unit produced by Volvo exclusively for the Norwegian truck market.

Some Municipal Technical Services equipment in Germany in the nineties:





- left: Multicar M 26 AK 4x4/2 tipping compact truck (modified Conrad model) equipped with a Gmeiner GSP 170 snow blade (Conrad element) and a Gmeiner Husky 1300W removable salt gritter unit (modified Conrad model),

- right: Schörling BKF 4x2/2 street sweeping/cleaning vehicle (Conrad model) fitted with a Schörling removable aspiration module and under-chassis street sweeping Schörling equipment (Conrad model and elements). On the ground, a Schörling removable salt gritter unit (Conrad element).

Approx. 10 years ago, the Niedersachsen/Sachsen-Anhalt region subsidiary of the Allgemeine Deutscher Automobil-Club(*) German association bought a road combination they would use for cars local technical checks:





MAN TGX 18.680 FLS 4x2/2 tractor and Jumbo Mobile 4000 Spaceliner 2-axle expandable box trailer for light vehicles technical control (Conrad models)

The combination being used for ADAC Members vehicles checks:





- leaving vehicle(*): Lexus RX 300 4x4/2 compact SUV (modified Smart Toys model),
- entering vehicles(*): BMW 535i 4x2/2 sedan (Welly model) and Mercedes-Benz ML 430 4x4/2 compact SUV (modified Smart Toys model)





Note (*): the 3 model cars are generally assumed to be in a 1/43 scale; precise measurements of each model indicate an approx. 1/48-1/50 scale instead.

- left: MAN-Volkswagen 8-136 F 4x2/2 truck fitted with a Ziegler TLF 8/18 multi-functions pumper body (modified Conrad model),
- right: Steyr 1291-310A 4x4/2 truck fitted with a Rosenbauer RFC-11 multi-functions body equipped with a telescopic lighting pole, 2 on-board electrical generators and a Hiab 100 knuckleboom crane handling the central drawer (modified Conrad model + Zon Models kit).
