It should be noted that today, 30' sea containers are very seldom used and that the Conair system has been superseded by 20' or 40' reefer containers with built-in fridge systems, much easier to use: Abstract of a DAF brochure (in French, sorry): Regards. Guy

The model that triggered some jokes about my "negotiation skills" (*) in a recent get-together with the "3J" members of the Azur Modelisme team: Ward LaFrance M1A1 6x6/2 WW2 heavy wrecker with rear winch and Gar Wood lifting boom assembly (Angego model) Note (*): the model in excellent condition was for sale at a ridiculous low price in an Avignon Modelshow (a model show in South of France) years ago. I did the mistake to inform R. Gourdon from Angego, present at the same show. He went to visit the seller, who, guessing about the model real value, immediately raised up its selling price. When I came back to him and in spite of lengthy and difficult negotiations, I didn't manage to get him back down to the original low price. That day, I ended-up concluding "a bad deal". Regards. Guy
