Mammoet DAF with low loader

Whyte Crane Hire Scania with ballasttrailer

And finally the long awaited Aylward Heavy Haulage Volvo with stepframe

Theres a photo on Aylwards calendar of a 3 axle grove loaded up on one of their trailers so I did the same Teeth

Tryed to recreate this photo Cool

Without doubt the new pride of my collection Teeth Credit has to go to Kevin from modelmania for commissioning this model, hopefully this is the start of many more Irish models to come Wink Teeth

Paul I think you need to get some pics of it up on here, your outside shots would really do it justiceTeeth I couldn't get it outside due to our lovely "Irish" summer Confused Whatever

I would like to except for two problems:

1. It did not arrive in one piece.
2. I'm now in the US until next week.

Kevin's on the job so hopefully it will be resolved.

Sorry to hear about that Paul, thats the last thing you want when opening the box Confused

I know people have had trouble with WSI models before but I have to say I've been lucky to date, never received anything damaged. Saying that I've probably just jinxed myself nowd'oh!

Yes it is a shame but I've also been lucky. Of the few damaged models I've had, they've been easy to fix. I'm sure Kevin will sort it though.

Transformer is not metal. It is some kind of injection moulding, or whatever you call it.

Just been picking up things I missed out on along with a few new models Paul. The Mammoet 1350 should see me out for this year, thats easier said then done though Confused Whistle

Liebherr LTM 1350-6.1 'Mammoet'

Decided to turn the arrival of the 1350 into a little dio lift thingy Whistle Teeth

Arriving on site

Superlift wings and support crane arrive

Wings fitted and ballast starts to arrive

Ballasting up

Load arrives and is slung

Taking the pinch

At full stretch

Have to say I had my doubts about this model after seeing a lot of complaints about the standard version but I can't fault the Mammoet version in anyway, detail on the model is excellent and its a good solid model not like earlier WSI cranes. Only thing I don't like is the 9 sheeve block that comes with it as its a bit unrealistic considering the biggest block for the LTM11200 has 11 sheeves but other then that its fantasic and could be my new favourite crane Teeth

Looks good. But the crane can put his own super lift on. There is no secondary crane needed for that job.

Mammoet- Size does Matter.

very nice!
ive heard that the 2 superlift pendants that are stored on the boom tip (T-2) are removable, so you can use them to attach the Y-guy to the boom tip, do yours come out? the standard version does not, dont know why not, it comes with these little plastic parts instead of the pendant bars. also do your wings sit pretty well when down for transport, they dont slide around? mine wont sit still at all, slide around all over the place! very delicate and flimsy. seems like they put more effort into the mammoet version then the standardThink

No problem Paul, you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for pointing that out, I was wondering if the real machine could do it or not.

Brandon I just checked the pictures of your model and noticed the pendant bars are attached to the boom which is weirdThink they didn't come attached to mine, They came separate in one the little bags. I have them attaching the Y-guy to the boom head. The little plastic parts you got instead also came with my model but I didn't use them and as for the the wings when in transport mode mine sit perfect, real pity they didn't put as much effort into the standard version Think
