Nice pics Paul. The YCC 1400 really is a thing of beauty like no other. In a good dio it'd be nigh impossible to tell it was a small scale model.

Thank you for sharing the Van Seumeren photos Paul. Looks like a neat twist to the standard Mammoet colors  . One thing bugs me though, the lights on the rear of the vehicle (second last pic) seem to be poorly done, askew and very asymmetrical  . I just keep wishing YCC were better at using tampos rather than sloppily applied decals  . Do you know if the spare wheel next to the boom is removable from its cradle?

Uzair,
I agree about the rear lights. I might have to see if I can sort them out. I’ve not tried to remove the wheel and believe it is fixed but I will double check this.

Good luck with the fix on the lights Paul.
As to the wheel it will be a cool little feature if it is removable.

Thanks for the sharing the Sarens LR 1600 photos Paul - I was waiting for your presentation on it  The model does look smashing and I am again tempted to get it, alas the extremely limited storage space I have (let's not even talk about display space) disallows such a large model. I already have one LR 1600/2 model - the Riga Mainz, and overall I like that a better scheme than this mostly yellow model. I always do like the Sarens blue however. Am I the only collector who finds the counterweights on these crane models some of the most interesting and beautiful components of the whole model: Paul R wrote: Paul R

The Sarens 1600/2 is absolutely beautiful, and the ballast tray really sets it apart. Thanks for sharing Paul.
Uzair - I like the counterweights too, however on my model the sizes were inconsistent so they didn't look so great up close.

Nope just on the 1600/2. The counterweights on the 11200 are perfect and therefore much better by comparison.

Love the MIC livery.Undoubtedly,they have the most colourful cranes.Very distinctive.The LTM 1800 looks really good.Is that a 'current' crane?Or,is it a historic piece?
