Took a trip up to the Vertikal Days show Thursday to have a mooch about.

Sorry about the blur on the left hand of the photos. I dropped my compact camera and obviously its a bit broken d'oh!

Well worth a trip up Sam. Food and drink all free, get to pick up loads of free crane merchandise and Liebherr shop have a huge discount on. I picked up an LTR model for under £70!!! Cool

Saw this 500 from Ainscough in Birmingham at the weekend. Thanks to Sam for letting me know about it Cool

From what I hear, these are what Ainscough are buying as new ballast wagon units

Thanks Lads, Thats what I imagine Paul, plus they have had a couple of MANs catch fire d'oh!

Some pictures from last weekend.

Caught Ainscoughs Terex Demag TC 2800-1 rigged up ready to lift a 169 ton railway bridge into position during overnight possession.

Also caught a friend de-rigging his AC 350/6 after installing a railway bridge overnight. It was interesting to watch seeing as it was jack up so high on the front.

Great photos Jack. TC2800 is a thing of beauty! Really like the last photo of the AC350/6.

I'd love to see Gaz's LG at the moment. Apparently rigged as high as its ever been.

Agreed, the TC is an impressive piece of engineering.

It would to be cool to see a strut jacked up high, any pictures? I would like to catch Ainscoughs LG at some point.

Well that's one thing I can say, I've caught their LTM 1800 and LG 1550 a while back. But not the TC as yet!

I was lucky enough to be working on site last week where Ainscoughs LTM 1800 was hired in to erect a Wilbert tower crane. Sorry about the quality as they were taken on my phone.

A 1250 there the day before the 1800 turned up to reconfigure a tower crane already on site.

The ballast starting to arrive

The crane was meant to be rigging up on the Sunday when I wasnt in work, but due to ground problems it was, luckily for me, put off until the next day

And this weekend caught NMT's AC 700 again rigged with full ballast ready to lift bridge beams and 56te edge beams/walls. Awesome looking crane.
