Caught some big cranes over the last week or two
Here are some pictures of the LTM 1750-9.1 on the A453 in Nottingham.

Also caught one of Ainscoughs LTM 1500-8.1's waiting to lift bridge beams on the railway at Stafford along with Selects LTM 1200-5.1

And caught this 1500 at Montpellier Street in Birmingham also working on the railway

Some more to come later/tomorrow....

Thanks SamCool

Managed to see these two cranes working just after Christmas replacing a railway bridge over a river. It was impressive to see the AK 680-3 finally. An awesome old crane still working hard.

And a couple of pictures taken on my GoPro camera

The LTM 1500-8.1 was lifting 4 ton concrete plinths at 63m radius.

Excellent photos Jack! Glad you got to see the AK680-3 Smile I got to see it a few years back at Ferrybridge and it was an awesome sight!

Also cool to see the 500 stretching out like that and at such a low angle.

Interesting perspective with the fisheye on the GoPro!

Thanks very much Paul. I remember your pictures of the AK very well. I think your pictures are what made me fall in love with the crane! Shhh

It was an interesting project to see. Worth the drive down. Just a shame the new bridge was in the way for better photos of the AK.
Cheers mate

I'm surprised WSI hasn't done a Sarens livery of the LTM 1500 yet. Great pics. TFS

To answer that question, just look at who runs the Sarens Shop.

Great photos too Jack, as mentioned I like the one with the Sarens 1500 stretched across the river.

I would interested to know what his pad pressure reading was when lifting the 4t at that radius.

Thanks Paul, it was impressive to see it jibbed down as much as it was. 68m of boom and still good for 6ton at that radius!!!!!!

Thanks Paul. It is some lump that Trojan!

Caught NMT's AC 250-1 lifting a pedestrian bridge out not far from my house. Also bumped it to Sam, which was nice to have a quick catch up.
