Jean-Francois built this Berliet GXO from a Minicirque kit. As usual, he machined some parts (wheels, pulleys...) that he considered too crude or being badly reproduced:

Other model built by Jean-Francois, the Nicoletti SAVIEM 6x6 (owned by SONEXA during the Nice airport construction phase), which was usually towing the company low bed Nicolas 4-line semi-trailer (modified Conrad model + home-made trailer with Corgi modules):

As the 6x6 model is completed, the other unit (crew-cabbed 6x4) can be re-assigned to its usual 3-line ACTM lowboy (modified Conrad model + homemade trailer):

As a bonus, both tractors in their usual duties (pictures issued from the forum "Photos de Camions No2" "Nicoletti" chapter):

Craig,

Many thanks for your support.

In West-Germany, combination of the local construction company E. Bölling:

Mercedes-Benz LK 710 4x2/2 tipper truck with shelter on a Meiller tipping body (Siku model) and Caterpillar SR4/455 generator set 1+1-axle drawbar trailer (455kW, 60Hz) (NZG model),

In Bundesrepublik of Germany still, a modeler who didn't seem to produce a lot in 1/50 scale (I was only able to find 2 models in that scale: a Magirus-Deutz fire engine and this one. Pity that, on this tractor the fifth wheel is so crude, the model being nicely reproduced otherwise):

Mercedes-Benz LS 315 4x2/2 tractor and Strüver 1-axle tank semi-trailer (M. Geiger models, to be modified),

Last example of a road transport in Bundesrepublik of Germany, a truck-trailer combination - then a favorite German architecture - in the livery of a local bier, brewed in Stuttgart:

Mercedes-Benz 1932L 4x2/2 truck fitted with a Kässbohrer sheeted dropside body and Kässbohrer D17 1+2-axle sheeted dropside trailer (modified NZG models),

Jamiescotland and kcmtoys,

Many thanks for your interest to this topic. I agree with you: the model Berliet GXO oil field truck looks great.
Only one 1:1 scale truck was ever built, when Berliet was trying to fight against Kenworth domination in that field, but they didn't succeed.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 419 CDI 4x2/2 van with Versalift VTL 145-F access manlift equipment: Siku model,
