Figured I would share some pictures of this dewatering pump that I finished up a couple months back. All scratch built from brass. I built a green one as well for another collector! Untitled by clay west, on Flickr"/> Untitled by clay west, on Flickr"/>

Hi Clay, that is a nice custom, no water and sewer diorama or diecast equipment fleet is compete without a 4" or 6" diesel trash pump(s). A little off topic but one of the only things I dislike about this hobby is the lack of 1/50th scale small equipment. This includes trailer mounted diesel trash pumps (6"), light towers, tow behind welders, variable message boards, arrow boards, air compressors (185CFM to 1800CFM), trailer mounted generators (25KW to 2000KW), water trailers, tar/tack kettles, tow behind mortar mixers, tow behind concrete mixers, ride on sweepers, road saws (18HP to 65Hp; 18" to 36"+ blades), trench rollers, walk behind asphalt rollers. I know a lot of this equipment is obscure for OEM's to even think about producing in 1/50th scale but it leaves us collectors with the only option to scratch build them or to assemble 3d printed kits.

I totally agree on all accounts!!!

There were a couple different Bomag model compactors made that were for small trench like areas!! But they are hard to come by these days!! The one I found was a walk behind Bomag compactor that was made by NZG!!!
Dain I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!! Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!
