Built with an MIM kit as the base. Thanks to Matt (JPLCrane) for the reference photos.

That is an outstanding model! Very, very nice! I look forward to seeing the trailer for it. Will it be a tri-axle, wobble-wheel Rogers beam trailer? That beautiful Autocar will look great hauling either a Manitowoc 4100W or American 9000 Series crane the way I used to see them hauled in NYC (with the cwt, catwalks, crawlers and boom butt installed!)

Terrific work on that model.

What was that trailer with Brutus in New Jersey. Was it a Rogers? I use to have pics.

Super truck! A beast. Only a Berliet T100 would match it for rugged looks!

Fantastic work, Robert, thanks for sharing. I especially enjoy the WIP pictures. These rear planetaries are wonderful! When you have pictures of the whole rig, please post them here.

Best regards,
Max

Thank you for our comments.

It will be a conventional Rogers three axle beam based on the trailer that Davies has and was shown in the photos Matt sent me. I think it is 90-100 ton capacity.

Speaking of Autocars, has anyone purchased those Fire Replicas Autocars? I think they are resin. They look great, but I don't know about quality or if the wheels roll or steer. CAW

Do you have dimensions of this trailer? If so I would be interested, because I need a trailer for my Mack DM 800 to haul my 4100W around.

Thanks,

Kerst

Craig:

Fire Replicas just announced their new Autocar models today. I definitely am going to get one of these as I already have the Jerry Howard show truck. They are static models with no opening doors, hoods, etc. They spend all their money on details and it is incredible. Everything is to scale and a lot of photoetched parts are used. Well worth the money.

Here is the link to their site Fire Replicas

Chuck has stocked their other trucks. Hopefully he will continue with these.

Kerst:

I got a lot of the dimensions from photos and the Rogers Site has dimensioned drawings of a lot of their trailers. Got suspension details from folks in that business.

Rogers Trailers.
