Did the BoomBooster also come in the factory version (yellow/blue), or is that an exclusive modell specialy produced for Mammoet? And has the basemachine also get some modifications fo fit with the CC 8800-1?

Did anyone who got a chance to see it know how tall this is? This looks like the BSFVL configuration which is 135m? or 2.7m scale height?

the one at conexpo was NOT that tall. im 5'10" and I would say that it was under 5' in the case that they had it in.

Did you really go to the show and stand next to it? or just estimating from picture wildly? That case is at least as tall as the door to me. also, the spec for that vessel being lifted is 106m in length or slightly over 2m at 1/50. Also if you look at the CC8800 manual for the configuration that the cc8800 boom booster shown in the case, look to me like it's the BSFVL configuration with one less intermediate section at the top before the short jib. I think the configuration shown replicates 120m total boom height, so that would be 2.4m in 1:50 scale. I think it could take an extra 12m section to take it to its max config of 132m as BSVL.

Paul R Yep... i am wondering if i should save up to also buy the original CC-8800 jib as well as the original cc-8800. the jib included with the rerelease is not a full jib.. also if you have the original cc8800 you can also use the sections from it to make the new cc8800 even taller. But this gets so expensive so quickly....lol... i do wish they would release the jib as well as make more intermediate sections and also release a boombooster addon for the original cc8800 kit. I already got the lr1600 and the lr 1750, each with 10 extension kits to give over 200m height for both ,, (above official specs... i know)... each of those two with their 10 extension kits is still a lot cheaper than this one cc8800... but the combination lift of both lr1600 and lr1750 is still less than this cc8800 by a good margin.....so there's that....

This will come with full jib. That has been verified on azcrane facebook through conrad models.
Also I stood next to this and I would say it's no less than 7 foot tall.

The jib shown in the display model is really just a short fixed jib as i don't see any luffing mechanism. I mean if they really will including parts for full luffing and fixed jib, then the price is actually a BARGAIN. I am not really counting on that....lol...

I found a detailed photo of the Powerbooster on AZ CRANE's homepage. and there you can see that you can at least disassemble the front and rear cross and diagonal struts, only the side panels are made as a complete part. So I should still try to hunt down the luffing jib set then? I hope you can still use the original luffing jib set on top of the rerelease main boom? I mean i would be totally pissed off if i spend a considerable amount for the luffing jib kit then only to find out later that it wouldn't fit on top of the boombooster main boom....lol
The short fix jib is not bad, but just kinda short and not luffing...lol...

It's ambiguous ad poster. I would count on only getting what you see in the mammoet pictured configuration to avoid disappointing yourself when you receive it finally.

I think I owe Dan an apology as based on that photo and what I have just seen on the Mammoet Store website, he is right. Seems the vessel lifter part is made up of parts from the luffer. I am not sure if this is some imagineering going on or if it is how the real one is done.
But whatever, I do now agree that the model contains the base model with main boom and derrick, luffing kit and boom booster kit.
