got a few new stuffs but no time yet to put them up ....lol... Here's what I have so far in order of acquisition 1/55 NZG Grove TM1500  1/55 Kaidiwei Chang Jiang LT1050:  1/50 TWH Potain MDT178 and climbing cage   1/50 NZG Liebherr LTM 11200 and 54m jib

Very nice! The TM1500 was one of my first "real" crane models. I've since sold it and kind of regret that.
Looks like you are off to a good start!

Rob It's an old model but a good quality one. very solidly made. it does lack features compared to the latest stuffs. as i said, i was very surprised how the one i got still has such a decent coat of paint for something 30 yr old.

1/50 TWH Grove GMK3055 I paid $76usd for this one new in box. It's a small crane with a smaller price. As can be seen, the outtriggers do obviously work with wheels off the ground. Reach max height of about 45 in with full jib so fairly accurate to scale.. Overalll a fairly good modell. Quality obviously significantly better than the kaidiwei toy thing.  the GMK does fishing while showing off the extended outtriggers wheel off with partially extended boom without tipping over

NZG LR 1600 with 6x 12m extension kits (should be more than enough to get above 200m height)  Conrad Sennebogen 5500G The LR 1600 box is so BIG. I had no idea...lol

Right on! Looks like another one got bit by the crane bug! You will love that 1600, best crawler on the market right now. Looks like the collection is going pretty yellow, don't be afraid to grab some of those really nice livieries!

I jury rigged the 5500G to have it up and runing quickly with just tying a few threads to the main boom lower section and A frame...lol. With the main boom and all jib and reducer section for a straight boom, it's about 1m tall. so not very tall but the lattice sections give it a pretty impressive look more than the skinny telescopic boom sections of a mobile crane. I will open up the 1600 later but looks like it's significantly bigger just by the box

Just opened up one of the 6 LR 1600 extension kits. It's hard to believe how big the 12m sections are relative to the sennebogen 5500 and a grove gmk3055. Here's a picture of them next to each other. Even the LR 1600 jib section is huge.

That's the second time your autocorrection overrules "just" and says "jury"  And good luck indeed with the reeving. More effort is needed than what you did with the Sennebogen.

I did mean "jury rigged" as in "Something rigged up temporarily in a makeshift manner with materials at hand"

Conrad LR 1750 with ten extension sets.. You don't need 10 sets to get the max real height configuration with luffing jib. But you do need at least 8 to get the maximum height main large boom only configuration. These 14m extension sections are impressive compared to a regular TWH Grove 4100L 4 axial crane. They are also longer than the 12m LR 1600 sections   WSI LTM 1350 with luffing jib kit. the kit has a crooked tip which the distributor will replace.... wsi 1350 jib kits are known to have random issues unfortunately LR 1280  Conrad Sennebogen 5500 EMCC Vinci ver. This is probably the cheapest new 1/50 crawler crane you can buy. just google emcc vinci sennebogen. It's around 130 euro. This emcc ver is in red instead of the usual green. it doesn't have the luffing jib but does come with 6 main 5m sections (instead of the usual 3 main and 3 jib sections, each 5m). This might be the cheapest way to get additional sections for the conrad sennebogen.... sections are in black but still fit fine with the usual green section

Built EMCC sennebogen 5500. 98cn (49m scale height). You can get this older conrad sennebogen 5500 set from emcc vinci for only $130 euro. This is about the cheapest 1/50 collector type quality crawler crane you can get. See my other post about removing the rivets, which allow this model to have road transport configuration without boom butt. also removed the limiter cylinder springs which allows for higher boom angle like the real crane.
