 As a French forum member questioned the lift, Denis realized after posting the pictures that his hydraulic crane was underrated for the operation. The mining picture that triggered the scene:  According to the Liebherr load chart, Denis crane capacity would be limited to approx. 50 tonnes at 12.5 metres distance: a little bit short for the cone real weight! Keep in mind that we are approaching Christmas Eve, where everything is possible: we'll simply call that lift the "magic of modeling"! Regards. Guy

Guy great pictures, OSHA is also in 1/50 scale so we have to be careful with every picture that is posted, I believe fines can be paid with Monopoly money so Denis should be fine. Tell him if he needs help I just won $200.00 in a beauty contest and I will gladly send it him, I’m also the banker so I may be able to slip him a couple more $’s that just fell out of the bank. Guy, Absolutely right! Anything can happen during the Christmas period  I’ve not commented a whole lot but I’ve really enjoyed this thread. The diorama is so well detailed and realistic and some great photography! Merry Christmas and all the best for 2020. Paul R

Pretty difficult to mobilize the right crane on Christmas Eve with a such short notice but LorraMine managed to get a Liebherr lattice crawler crane to complete crusher lifting operations:   A crusher cone carried in Canada (60x113'' crusher for the Detour Gold mine) by a Temisko 100 tonnes capacity lowboy:  Picture above from the "Photos TP" forum Canadian member "SamEuclid". Guy great pictures of the crushing scene, with all the safety features set in place you know OSHA is nowhere to be found.
Like the camera set up also, looks like a real steady hand.
