As a Thanksgiving Surprise note that Diecast Masters has just released info on a line of Western Star 4700 Trucks in Dumps, Cement Mixers and Two-Axle Tractors!! We don't have part numbers yet - but should get them posted by this weekend.

That is good news. Their International trucks are great models with a reasonable price point.
Thanks for letting us know.

I hope they are SB’s, but excited either way. I have one of the POS Tonkins in pieces that I was going to try and make something decent out of, guess it will end up in the parts bin.

Hello All,
We have been asked by Diecast Masters to remove the Western Star 4700 Trucks from our website temporarily. It appears they were released a little too early.
If you have an order in with DHS already, your order is safe! We will keep these orders on file.
We will re-post them as soon as we get the OK to do so.
Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Western Star Items are back on the website today!
Four of these (the set forward axle variety) will be here end of February. The set-back axle versions will come in April!
Enjoy - and order strongly!

I also would love a stepdeck. Tonkin is too small for these I bet. Claus order a dark red version to go with the dark red Western Star!. I hope the WSs are as good as the IHs. I don't yet have the IH lowboys. Can anyone comment on their quality, detail, configuration...etc CAW

And I’m not a Western Star fan no matter what color.
