Brutus was a mean looking Autocar, that is on the level of a DM800 two of my favorites.

Great day in the morning. Those are killer pictures Claus. Those old brutes look so much better than the newer ones in my humble opinion. Ken, tell us about driving one of the big Macks or Autocars. When I was a kid, my Dad drove an old Emoryville truck that belonged to a neighbor of ours and it had one of those in it. Just exactly what did it do?

Claus that first picture of the International with twisted suspension is like the T-ride suspension on the Volvo’s. That is the reason we started buying Volvo’s instead of the RD Macks. We had 4 trailer dumps and 50 ton lowbed at the time and we were always off road or in our gravel bank and they worked out very well for us. The first one we bought in 92 and sold in 2009, and besides regular pm’s the only thing we replaced on it was a drive shaft. Those trucks would pull out of anywhere loaded. Of course knowing how to drive in off road conditions also helped.

Claus those are great pictures of some real heavy haulers, that logging company had a reality show, and on one episode they were given a tour of the Mack plant while one of their rigs was being built.

Craig: The green Pete 355 is maybe the most wicked picture yet. The Kenworth right beneath it is too. Do you go to these shows or get the pictures elsewhere? And please block that tinhorn from Rhode Island. He is back off his meds again. Craig
