hi everyone -I purchased a cat 793f from ebay -it was supposed to be new -really nice detailed model-I read that the rear suspension on this model was very stiff -my model just sits at its lowest point on the two suspension cylinders-if I lift the weight from the rear of the truck the pistons extend and the rear axle falls to the unloaded position but as soon as I release the truck to sit on a flat surface the pistons just compress -can anyone tell me -is there a fix for this and also are the springs inside the two pistons as theres no sign of any spring mechanism on my model-regards to all

Yeh, as Adrian says there's supposed to be a small spring system inside each cylinder but by the sounds of it your one doesn't have them or they're exceptionally weak.

I think your model is new but it's just been another QC fail from Norscot.

The underside(wheels, steering, axles) of my Norscot 795F is basically a bag of loose bolts so I bought the Diecast Masters version and what a difference.

I'm guessing you may have to try and access the cylinders and put little springs in so hopefully someone on here can give you some info on how to do that.
