Bought what seems to be avery nice old International TD25C "1975" so its a later model C. These were very powerful tractors, would make D8H or K look sad. The D817C engine was uprated to well over 300 hp from 1975 on. Some pics and a vid link. Nice "toy", I have yet to see one of these in action myself but I have seen one that just sets around in the weeds. They are a good size machine for sure.

Hi Tim,
congretulations! What a huge toy. I see no ripper at the back, so it probably did no rock work. I bet there is plenty of life left. I know you can weld steel strips onto the grousers when the plates are worn down - but the one on your TD25 somehow special. Do you know for what the tractor was used for?
Nice video you shot. The IH engine has a realy nice bark.

Great dozer looks like you have been haveing fun with the blade nice and clean wish we had one to clean out the dams on the kids farm

good god that sounds nice. looks good Tim! not all beat up. you will get some use out of that machine. that two speed steering is a neat feature too. more use
full in heavy dozing however

817's always had a nice sound to them and this one sounds healthy. in the video it appears that there is a track pad missing or no grouser on one pad. Did i see that correctly? Also 25s have the weight in them down low and so they are pretty stable on slopes. Nice find. good operators machine.

The good news is that the one top roller that was frozen is now in full operation. Took the cap off, the castle nut off and lubed it up.. a big bar and sledge and now it turns great filled with 80-90 and away we go. also put the new exhaust elbow on. and a new seat. So all is done except some filters. Tim

Cat 245.....Now and Forever  I am looking for industrial auction brochures from Ritchie Bros, Miller & Miller, Forke Bros, First Team Auction, Max Rouse, etc from the 70's, 80's and 90's.I am a collector and heavy equipment enthusiast and these pamphlets are loaded with nice pictures of cleaned and freshly painted equipment.Thet don't have much value once the sale is over but they are a great help to me in preserving the memory of machines that are no longer being built.Please, help my hobby by looking in your old storage boxes and file folders for these old auction sale brochures.Your help is much appreciated.

I'm a cat man, but I spent a season a TD25 c and it is hands-down the best tractor I have ever ran.
