Marty K. I see you're in New Zealand. The term "Holy Mackerel there Andy" comes from an old television comedy show that aired back in the 1950's here in the USA. The line became famous and has been used here for over 50 years. CAW

Amazing Kenworth custom! Looks like another Drake Kenworth was used as a donor for parts. The road train looks great as well. Thanks so much for sharing.

Qinella , thought it might have been something along those lines..I'm actually in Australia , but us Kiwi's like to call it the West Island..usually to stir up the natives  Chandler , I've used 2 donor Drakes , another 509 for wheels and a 200 for the front suspension and engine /rear suspension for the powered dolly on the road train . Very cool custom mate.. the 'real' trucks were special order factory built C510 10x6 prime movers for Brambles Industrial Services (BIS) the twin steer was to keep the trucks road legal with the beefy QSK19 up front.. There was about x12 or so built

Holy Cow, you Oz guys have some wicked looking rigs. Those road trains are so interesting. I saw a TV show on them one night. One portion showed how perilous it is for one road train to pass another during the night. Very interesting. Is there not much of a railway system to the rugged, uninhabited portions of your country? Rare SS , now that's a truck..!!! Quinella , I'm far from an expert , the rail system seems to be pretty much down the east coast , across the bottom and up the west coast . Pretty much nothing in the middle or top . Youtube "Outback Truckers" .. This part of the project is done for the moment.... RMS , I'm limited to brush painting at this point and I havn't got the paint colour match of the original quite right yet . So I decided to leave them as they are for the moment rather than making a mess of trying to hide them .
