I had the privilege of visiting this crane yesterday and being given a tour of it by one of the operators. Some photos are below but the link to the album is here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm13J6qX   Other cranes on site were from Sarens were the CC 2800, LTM 1500-8.1, LTM 1250-5.1, GMK 6300L and 2-3 LTR 1100's. Weldex also had their CC 3800 and LR 1750/2.  Paul R

Paul, Now those are some fantastic photos of a real machine or three!!! Looks like wind turbine foundation/jacket fabrication??, Must be using the 120 for load outs? Which project is this yard supporting?, Thanks, Tim.

Not sure where these are heading as there are several projects around the UK coast and the company involved are hoping it will continue for a while yet as the 120 is contracted to be there for 5yrs. 120 is being used for final assembly and load out. Thanks for posting those great photos Paul. Although I wasn't in the lifting end of the business, more the dirt and pipe side, its good to see big lifters such as these together especially that Sarens, wow. Mike

I just watched the other pics in the flickr album, and I found one interesting thing about the LR 1750/2: the counterweights! Looks like Liebherr is getting rid of the old large 12,5 t ones!
Although, we have yet to see the first LG 1750 with 10 t weights.

Hi Paul, thanks for the great pics. That is an epic work site. 5 yrs to rent the SGC120, I wonder what that bill will come to?!? LOL! Also good to see you're set up on Flickr; hopefully that provides a longer term solution for photo sharing. Take care and have a great week.

Take care and have a great week. Thank you ChandlerYohn, I have had Flickr for a while now and use it to share holiday photos and things and for that it is very good. However, one thing Photobucket is very good at is batch linking photos to forums. I can select what photos I want then press a button that creates individual links to all the photos. Then copy and paste over to here. As far as I can see, Flickr does not allow for that which means you have to each photo to grab the link. But it appears to be the best solution so far. Spectacular - thanks for sharing Paul.
I think it's great that anoraks like ourselves are able to get access to these machines and share these experiences with the community (I'm forever indebted for my own experience with the R984C). I'm sure you had a great time and will never forget the experience!
