Hello all,
Even though there are various Ford threads, I wanted to create a new topic to make sure this information was prominent. We are happy to announce that we have officially picked up the Sword Models 1:50 scale Ford F250 Pickup Truck models from the factory and expect them to arrive in the next few weeks!
They have been a long time coming, but we are very excited about the fact that they are finally reaching the USA. And we are excited about the models themselves.
Please note that the SW1100-R (Super Cab in Red) is already sold out! Everyone who has one on order with us as of today will get their models but we cannot accept any new orders for that item number. Other part numbers are also getting closer to being sold out as well. If you have delayed ordering these models, please do not wait any longer.
The models come in various colors and in the Super Cab and Crew Cab configurations and we also offer the Escort Vehicle Set in white. Part Numbers are: SW1100 for the Super Cab and SW1200 for the Crew Cab versions. SW1300 for the Escort Vehicle Set.
We will keep you posted on their final arrival. We are bringing in the entire shipment at one time.
To those who have been patient, we thank you!
Chuck

Screen shot from an e-mail I received from DHS today: It's strange that Chuck just posted a few hours ago it would be a "few weeks". ???????????????????????????????????

He's mad because Chuck isn't piloting the container ship, thus not knowing the exact Berea, Ohio arrival date.

digggerr needs a safe place to hide until the F-250's actually make it to his door!
Missed delivery dates hurt 😂
Are you an enviromentist, or do you work for a living?

Technically a few weeks can be considered 2 weeks being that does include more than one. Mathematically he is covered. Thanks chuck for keeping the hobby alive.

Diggger you are a brat and a punk. I cannot imagine that you are a grown man. I really wish that Chuck would kick you off the Forum. CAW

If I may jump in here. I have been working on getting the Fords here for almost a month. When you don't hear back from China or they give you one date and then another, it's not really Chuck's fault. He has never lied to anyone about his models. As a matter of fact, he's one of the most honest guys I know. So for those of you who continue to bash him, well, your Fords (if you actually have any on order) might just be shipped after the hundreds of others that are shipping. Who knows where your order may land in the giant pile of orders we have?? It is not an easy task working with a factory in another country. Besides the language barrier, you have time differences and model updates and changes and a whole lot of other "stuff" that goes into making models. Anyone who owns a Sword model knows they are well worth the wait. Having said that - play nice, boys and have a good day!

If so your comment about getting moved to the end of the line for criticizing Chuck shines a bad light on him and DHS! I've criticized Chuck a few times for the continuing delays. Does that mean I'll be the last to receive mine? If so please let me know and I'll be sure to cancel all orders with DHS and shop else where! Chuck is the face of Sword models and the Ford pickups. Regardless of who's fault it is, when you tell people numerous times something will happen and then it doesn't your going to get criticized.... Be sure and let me know about my order! And yes I do actually have some ordered, 9 of them in different colors. I was actually thinking of adding some more now that they're finally coming but now I think I'll hold off.

Have been here for years. I think you are missing my point, chevyman. There are a LOT of factors that go into producing a model. I am the one who is generating the shipping of the models. We have had hold up after hold up. Once the factory gave us a date and then changed their mind. We get as excited as you do and post the date thinking it is legitimate and then Chuck gets bashed because the date has changed. I just don't get the bashing. Chuck provides this great forum at no charge. You guys get to share and talk and argue and do what you do on here. We provide great service and Sword makes a great model. So what is with all the criticism? I stay away from the forum for just that reason. Today I guess I've had enough. I can't tell you what to do about your model order. If you feel the need to cancel it after my post - that's up to you, but you will be missing out on a great product. My comment about where the orders land was supposed to mean just have a little patience ... sorry you don't get my point or my humor. It seems with your criticism, you are the one shining a bad light on DHS and Chuck! All of the models will be shipped in as timely a manner as we can provide. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Don't try to play it off since you got called out on it!
