Would love to see what power that truck has !
Yes I own a lot of Norscot Cat models they remind me of my many good years working for a Cat Dealer. Going out to the back forty after work playing with used equipment just moving dirt around

Jed's trucks are by far thee nicest you'll see hauling big wood. Not too many shows his "Black Betty #18" or Chester's "1000" don't take home a 1rst place trophy. They've got a Facebook page going with a ton of great pics - search: JF Logging

I have always loved this truck! I believe it is a Tri-Drive tractor as well not a tandem drive with pusher axle.
My Oshkosh Concrete mixer has the same front tires he has (445/65/22.5 Michelin XZL) on all axles.

KyleS - yes, you're right. All JF's trucks are tri-drives. JTL - you're also correct. Jed started spec'ing all his new trucks with sleepers last year due to his trucks spending weeks up in remote camps. This way his drivers have the option of sleeping in their own beds, which most seem to prefer. There are still a few without sleepers...I believe they're long loggers, but they'll go during the next upgrade. Jed (JF's Owner) specs the base of the trucks....Engine, tranny, suspension, etc. but then allows his drivers to customize the rest to their liking - lights, chrome, whatever else. He gets the best guys around, and retains them with good pay and their own personalized "company" trucks. The added bonus is a premium price when the trucks are put up at Ritchie Bros every three years. There's another company that works alongside JF Logging by the name of LeBeau Bros Logging - who run some ex-JF Logging trucks, and keep them in showroom condition as well.

Sounds like a top shelf fellow to work with. Those trucks are wicked. Thanks Claus. Wouldn't mind a model of that one. CAW

That is the kind of company I wish I worked for. When my company buys new trucks they just get a basic truck with no interest in what options a driver might want.

I know everybody likes something different and I remember when the Sword T800W prototype photos were out people were complaining about the choice of the front tires and in the end the tires were changed. I like the look of a mud tire, the tractor would have looked good with a tread pattern like that on the front and drives in my opinion.

Not complaining though, the finished model looks much better than the prototype in many other areas.

If I had to guess I would say that the front tires and wheels on the red prototype are the front wheels and tires off a TWH Oshkosh front discharge mixer.
I agree they look bad ass on the real truck but I don't like them on the model.
