I few years ago I saw here on DHS one RH400 Syncrude made by a Genius. In that time I didn't think to call him to try make one for my collection. However on beginning of this year I sent him an e-mail asking for this possibility. He answered telling ok to make a so amazing model for my collection. Now, every month I receive an e-mail with pictures from model evolution and I want share it with you! I hope all of you like it! I'll do it till the model arrive in Brazil!

Congratulations Felipe!
It is hard for me to imagine that Diego would produce models in series for other collectors. You were smarter than me in not making that assumption. I won't do that again.
It also looks like your model will be constructed a bit differently than the original?
Sadly; I just looked and his photos of the original build are all gone on P TP. At least you will keep us informed with photos now.

There are pictures here https://www.flickr.com/photos/73082478@N04/ The link won't work, but if you copy and paste into the browser it'll take you to Diego's Flickr page where there are shots of the build process - fascinating and inspiring

I think the same of you the first time I saw his topic here. After one or two years I decide find him to try buy one. I asked him the same model with all details as possible. He has done a amazing job on this RH400. I'll keep all of you informed about progress here! Thanks!!! Felipe

That is truly a fantastic model! I am very fond of O&K excavators as my granddad had a few on his farm. Small ones, the RH9's...although back then they were huge machines for me. I can just imagine what it must be like to stand next to an RH400 in person. I am not sure who this Genius is but does he still take commission work and how do you contact him?
