I guess it's not conrad but nzg...lol
Anyway, i wonder why they're releasing it in the SL8F2 configuration instead of the more traditional luffing jib and derrick configuration like the LR 1600? I wonder if we will get some extension set for it as well as the ballast tray /wagon and derrick ?
It kinda sucks they released in the SL8F2 configuration because it is missing so many things like a luffing jib and derrick ;(

The price of that model with a Derrick and luffing jib would be a lot more. It gets to a point where common collector can't afford the high priced items and demand drops. If the Sarens LR 11000 is already at 1100 euro than a Derrick and luffer would push it above 2000 euro. I am thinking they might offer kits in the future, but these crane models get so big very few people can fully set them up.

I bought two of them along with 10 extension sets! ;) I would definitely buy two LR11000 with a complete derrick and luffer for $2K each since they will have more details than the conrad cc8800 boombooster. I would definitely spend another $1K on extension setS! I just bought half dozen ofthe cc2800 extension sets ;) these extension sets make very good investment because they are always sold out and these manufacturers never continue to make them.... just like the cc8800 extension sets are all sold out! wish i bought another 10 extension sets when i had a chance!

I have to ask, do you actually set up that boom booster with all the extension sets?

As are all the other cranes in my collection ;) . They are actually still in the brown carton boxes they were shipped in ;)

LOL well essentially you are just a box collector. I have a few friends that are like that as well, to each their own. I personally love setting my cranes up as I view them as "art" and I find the higher they go the harder they are to display. To me it seems like a waste to have such a nice model with so much time and effort put into it to have it just sit in a box for the next guy to open and enjoy, kind of makes you just a warehouse. But it is a great opportunity for people looking for old pristine models that are willing to pay.

I bought two C8800 with the intention of displaying one and keeping the other one in pristine condition. Unfortunately i wasn't able to buy two exact ones, so now i have to end up keeping both in pristine condition ... lol... I were able to score 4 nearly new LTM 1500 for $250 each , they are all different ones but close enough that i were able to display one on my desk.

I saw a video on Youtube last weekend of a guy who received his LR 11000. He did an unboxing video. Looked like he was in Europe. The tracks looked fragile like the ones on the LR 1600.

Just got mine. The box is same size as lr 1600 and weight about as much. So it is def a big model as this is without the derrick or luffing jib. I guess that with luffing jib and derrick it would be about the same weight as cc8800 boombooster without any extension?

Did you collect another $1000.00 box wildpig? Lol or are you going to ever set this up? I heard and seen some issues with these already and want to wait to see if NZG corrects them.

Thanks Paul. Don't know why it wasn't coming up for me. Looks like NZG needs a new QC team.
