I was searching for something else Poclain and came across your post, which I somehow missed.

It's a relief that there are still some young collectors out there that appreciate the older stuff, but to the point of this post;

It's regarding your Poclain 1000. The piece you have in the opening between the handrails I've circled in the first photo actually belongs on the top center rear of the engine housing. I've outlined it in the second photo (man I've got to dust that thing!) where you can also see the correct original ladder for the side. I think you could make a reasonable facsimile with styrene

I have to ask; how much older is that Bourbon piece than you?

Thank you, I somehow overlooked the placement of that piece. The seller did say a few things were glued.. I did notice the funky yellowish residue on the plastic. Now I know where the plastic ladder is supposed to go. In regards to the Bourbon GC120, it would be around 28 years older than I am, making it the oldest model I own.
