Sorry guys, I'm not in the truck business, so forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question.
Is there any difference between the (TWH) Drake Kenworth T908 trucks and the new T909 trucks?
I can't see a difference.
Thanks in advance.

Here is a 908 of Betts Bower Haulage Groups. And here is aT909 from National Heavy Haulage. There are slight differences. The BBHG unit has had a lot of customization though.

i'm really surprised/disappointed with the new Drake T909 combinations there is no Lampson Mcaleese Doolans Tenkate even if they were just ballast trucks would had been welcome to follow the collection :( none really interest me in this lot. think i'll sit back wait for the other KW series coming later .

To be honest, Doolans and Lampson don't have any T908/909's. Doolans do how ever now have a 265t rated C509. Lampsons do have a K2 though.

My mail is that Drake did not want to devalue the exciting models collection prices by releasing them again even though they are a different truck. A lot of people have paid double or triple the price for their Doolan / McAleese models.
Drake also has a lot more than 3 or 4 customers who want models produced of the liveries. I was told than there are two more McAlesse models coming this year and possibly more Tenkates when the tippers are available.
I was also told that Drake has to get permission from the companies to release the models and sometimes the larger corporations don’t want to go down that path. It cheapens Drake and the transports companies branding by releasing too many of the same.
I am excited about some of the new livery’s and I think Drake have a long term plan in place so that people can build fleets of not just Heavy haulage companies by general freight and cranes as well.
I was also fortunate enough to see a sample of a new crane livery coming that they have kept very quite that is in production.

BAH,
Can you let the cat out of the bag on the cranes?
