Eef,
That's an amazing set of pics. My favorite is the one with the American tailing the PTC. When did American stop making cranes ? I assume it was the same time it was acquired by Terex. TFS

I still like to see some 1:50 scale models of these, specially the truck mounted ones. Sigh one can dream

As Mammoet says "SIZE DOES MATTER". Slowly collecting Mammoet 1:50 scale stuff. Mainly cranes!

Hi Paul

You are almost right there , they did produce a small amount for a short period under the terex name.
At the moment they do still sell under the American name but those are 100% IHI cranes. ( HC80 , 110 , 165 , 230 , 275 )
Not bad machines to be honest , but not produced by American / Terex.

Thanks, Eef! Once I get back from ConExpo, I will try to post some more. Obviously, they are going to be a majority dynamic compaction pictures.

Thank you! This is in Hialeah, FL, just north of Miami. The crane in Tempe is still there waiting for the next phase of the job.

Hi Guys

Another nice update from Sam Drumheller and someone i contacted on flickr ,Terry Hammonds
Both have made some great contributions to American photo page.

If you have some photo's from American cranes please join Flickr and post them in the group.
Even if you only have 2 or so you are more than welcome , every contribution makes it better.
Just for one reason , let everybody watch and enjoy photo's from these great machines.
