I finished getting my 9W put back together with the new parts I built this past month. I also think I have the swing motor drive fixed. I replaced the drive with a different one and now it swings BOTH directions smoothly. Before it only swung to the right smoothly. Just my luck, I have been out her working for the last month and a half staying only a half mile from the fair grounds and its my weekend to go home. Looks like a great show. I talked a few guys that are staying at my hotel that were setting it up and sound like I will be missing a great show.

It was good to see you guys again and I was impressed as usual. It was a good show but I think I missed some things by going on Sunday instead of Saturday. I liked the Marion Shovel but his crowd setup was a little questionable. I could be wrong but I don't remember Marion using a dual dipper arm and cable crowd setup.

Thanks for posting all the photos! It looked like a great show to check out and it's obvious people put a lot of work into their models! todd s wrote:It was good to see you guys again and I was impressed as usual. Here's the actual machine he based his model on: It does have the dual dipper sticks, but uses a geared crowd mechanism. Maybe the cable crowd was the most practical solution he decided to go with...
