Hi guys

Some time ago i got some questions how i did modified the P&H to width tracks.
I had some some spare time left so i disassembled the crane to make pictures.
So here is a tutorial how to modify your P&H from small tracks to wide tracks.
Parts are made from brass , glue is 2 component epoxy.
Sorry for imperial guys sizes are metric Smile
Take your P&H apart and have a good look at it and look at the pictures.
I am not 100 % sure if i made modifications to the carboy as well but i can not take that apart anymore.
But i think if you make the parts and take the crane apart it must be easy to figure it out.
I am not pretending this is the one and only solution but but it's a way it can be done.

And if you are working on the 670 consider to change the wire from the inner to the outer bail as well , change it for a much thinner wire so you can boom down completely.
Original wire is way to thick , no need to disassemble the crane complete just run it out complete and cut it true and knot the thinner wire to the original one.
And then reeve it again ( not the most easy job on the 670 but it can be done ).

Good luck.

Eef

And a picture for comparison small and width
