The Crown Jewel of my collection:

Komatsu D475 Dozer by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

I am still waiting on rigging from TWH so that I will be able to connect the bucket to the dragline.

McAleese was the official haulage company contracted to transport components for the dragline during its construction.

The Komatsu D475A is not the official support vehicle for Dragline 4 at Ensham, but I like the way it looks.

I am also very fond of the Terex RH 340. It will be interesting to see if this model will also be featured in a Cat livery, the Bucyrus livery looked really nice.

LeTourneau 1850 and Terex MT4400AC. It's amazing that over the past couple of years all of these huge machines have been rebranded. Terex > Bucyrus > Caterpillar and recently LeTourneau > P&H.

Will TWH come out with a special P&H livery of the 1850 loader?

That is really cool. My little Conrad guy is enjoying your scaled down version of your design. I am hoping to make a trip to see the real dragline someday. That will be a few years down the road. Thankfully these machines have a 40 year life cycle. LOL!

Do you have any pics of the real machine, especially on the inside?

Outstanding models! If your handy with customising, I have always wanted to see one of these white 994's with the coal bucket, I think it would fit in quite nicely with your collection Wink

Hi Rowan, great find. That is an excellent picture. I wasn't a big fan of the Norscot 994 as it lacked detail such as the drive shaft bridging the front and rear sections and the hydraulic lines. I've stuck with the TWH LeTourneaus. I wish I had a dump truck with a coal bed for the loader. Jason (Hummer13) might be able to do up a loader bucket with styrene for you. He does an excellent job. Smiley Since you'd be doing a custom paint job on the loader you could do the bucket and get a great match.

It would also be great to see more service vehicles like the little Toyota pickup. I really like how the vehicles add perspective and "life" to the diorama.

Wirtgen 4200SM Mammoet Titan 8x8 Profile by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

The NZG Wirtgen 4200 SM is an incredible model capturing the 200+ ton machine brilliantly. Its design premise is to consolidate the functions of several mining machines into a single platform. The 4200 SM provides the capabilities of blasting, loading and crushing into a single machine.

Wirtgen 4200SM Access Ladders Front by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Front view of model with central access ladder located between the front caterpillars for access to the engine. This ladder can be folded up out of service on the model. The ladder leading to the driver's cab can also be folded up and out of the way. Hydraulic drive line for the front left crawler is placed up over the headlight to keep it from fouling the track. Care needs to be taken when turning this left front track and rotating the cab as the delicate light could potentially be broken. On the right hand caterpillar track is a ground access module which has some fine detailing.

Wirtgen 4200SM Cab Detail by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Cab can be rotated through approximately 60 degrees. It features a detailed operators seat with multiple monitors and controls. The operators chair cannot be rotated like the real machine. Fine safety railing and grab rails are located throughout the operators area. An emergency safety ladder is also featured on the right hand side of the cab.

Wirtgen 4200SM Alt Cab View by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Detailed view of operators seats with multiple consoles. Also visible is stairway and left hand access door.

Wirtgen 4200SM Track Frames by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Detailed view of individually linked double grouser metal track links at hard steering angle. Bottom rollers are free rolling. Drive sprocket is spring loaded, although the tracks cannot be removed from the model as the frame is pinned in place on both sides. Hydraulic lines run to the drive motor, although they don't have the cable management that keeps them out of the way of the tracks like the real machine. Fine printing adorns the model, however it lacks the fine warning labels found on the real machine.

Wow, that's a very impressive collection you have there. Thanks for sharing with the family Cool

I like the idea of the glass top table for models display. The reflection on the surfaces, jus as a rainy day, makes for even more impressive look and share different details angle.

Wirtgen 4200SM Top Profile View by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Rear access ladder to the adjustable counterweight mounted on the loading belt. Detailed cabling moulded into the floor of the engine compartment demonstrates excellent attention to detail. The top view of the heavy duty supports for the front crawler tracks. View of the access ladders leading into the engine compartment.

Wirtgen 4200SM Air Intake Exhaust Unit by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Left rear view of the exhaust/air intake unit. Four filters below each of the corresponding air intakes are aligned in parallel with the exhaust pipes. An air filter system is also modelled behind the operators cab. Fine metal stairs and safety rails are prominent along the top deck of the machine.

Wirtgen 4200SM Roof Detail by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

Top rear view of the upper deck of the machine. Fine metal safety railings and textured walkways line the perimeter of the exhaust/air intake unit. The dual exhausts lack black painting or modelled holes that would have added greatly to the detail. The exhaust leading from the engine does not actually connect to the exhaust stacks.

Wirtgen 4200SM Engine Compartment by ChandlerYohn, on Flickr"/>

View from the top rear inside of the spacious engine compartment of the Cummins 16 Cylinder 1600HP diesel engine. Two staircases lead into the engine room from the top and one staircase from the front (demonstrated earlier). The air intake and exhausts are modelled simplistically and not all components connect to the engine. The two large exhausts on the upper deck lack black highlighting or modelled holes and is a weaker point on the detailing.
