Anyone got any started yet? What are you planning? Im thinking that a little felco conveyor would be cool, hope the CCM 953 has the reach to load it.

New bucket for mine! I love the model, but the more I look at it, the less I like the bucket.. I'm thinking about a Cat yellow Volvo syle coupler and charcoal grey swedish or norwegian-looking bucket, it should be cool!

EDIT: A bucket like this:

I was already thinking and had the idea of swapping the booms/sticks with the 390 making the the 385 the ME and the 390 the standard.

I've got one on the way to be painted red and black. The extra one I have in my collection will become a Nacirema 385CL UHD sometime in the future.

I would love to modify the door so it would swing out completely.

Too bad Nacirema wasn't still around like they used to be..., it would be awesome to have a model of this.

I noticed that on the end of my 390's stick there is a little triangular "nub" that is preventing the bucket from curling in as far as my 385's bucket does. I think a dremel, a steady hand, and some touch up paint would rectify the situation but I am little concerned about the length of the stick cylinder and will it slide out of the housing. Does anyone else have this problem?

That would be a cool project. The bucket in the pic is a "Gjerstad" bucket, a Norwegian manufacturer.

It is a Gjerstad Xtreme-series bucket.

A quote from Gjerstad´s webpage about the Xtreme series.

Quote:
"This line of buckets is made without wear ribs, with an inner wear plate, heels, half arrow, side bar and beeps – especially designed for the toughest of jobs. Gjerstad Xtreme is the natural choice when wear, intrusion, and reliability matters!"

Hi Niklas, I found the bucket on Gjerstad's website earlier tonight. I really like this style of bucket, would you know any other manufacturers doing buckets that look like this one?

I really like the look of that bucket.

I just don't find the 385 appealing... the 390 looks so much more menacing because of the ME configuration and the enormous bucket. That's why I sold my WSI 870, and it's why I modified my PC1100 and gave it a bigger rock bucket. Next step for me is to make a ME gooseneck from styrene!

KVX tooth system http://www.kvx.no/produkter/intruder.aspx also norwegian manufacturer.

That's what I was hoping for Brian, someone to make a custom longer stick. I put my 385 next to my 375 and the 375 has longer stick
