Does anyone have any photos of a Caterpillar D9 Cable Dozer? I am having trouble locating photos for a custom project.

Thanks,
Greg

Sitting a local contractor's yard. They are not the best of pics, but I think they are d9d's. They have cushion blades on them.

D9D Torque Convertor drive..1955-56 This one delong to the Winter family... I spent a few hours on this machine.. I have lots of other photos of another local D9D but would have to scan them... Same machine but no cab... and I have some of a powershift D9E that also belongs to Winters... Mostly was used as a winch tractor so very seldom was the blade put on it.Let me know if you want the cabless machine.

And here is another 9D from a museum somewhere..web photo

Thanks for the great photos Tim! I think I have seen some cable dozers use the winch on the back of the tractor to raise and lower the blade (maybe the oldest?), and others where the winch appears to be for pulling only? In this case, where is the winch that raises and lowers the blade-the rounded area on the front grille? If you can post the photos of the cabless machine I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Greg
