Hello guys,

This is the current custom I am working on. Planning to paint it into Van Vliet Livery.
Just finished the tilt cab, and extra counter weight.

Anyone know the yellow & red paint code or name on the real machine?

Thankyou

That will look amazing hang. I'd suggest contacting either HRD Remco Kruis or maybe even Van Vliet directly? The real machine also has a modified undercarriage but I think the standard model will look fine on your model. Keep us upto date with progress.

Rowan.

Yellow must be RAL 1021 and Red RAL 3020.

Hello geert-yke,

Thankyou for your help!
Is the RAL 1021 yellow close to normal yellow? In the picture the yellow shows a little orange.

it is close to normal yellow. Maybe it has to do with light. But that are the RAL codes.

Looks Great! Are you going to change the bucket cylinder and linkage to the bottom side of the stick too?

Hope you guys like it.

Will be going to a 7 days trip this weekend. Will work on piping and decal when I come backTeeth

The Real machine carries a LaBounty MSD Saber-Lube series shear. A standard Hitachi 870 would carry a MSD4500R-SL, however the one in the photo almost appears to be a MSD3000R-SL

In fact, the real machine also carries a MSD4500R-SL shear. It also has a third lifting boom cilinder.
