How about estimate size at 1/50 scale.

Price is €299.

I think the WSI website has incorrect information because the Ballast Nedham website states 1:500 scale.

The Svanen is not in scale 1/50, but scale 1/500 (hence the lack of detail on the crawler crane on deck).

It's available from the Ballast Nedam webshop for €299. Furthermore, the model is not shipped, but can only be picked up at the Ballast Nedam head office in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands...

I thought WSI lost the Nooteboom license.

They stated in the article that they took over the complete line of TWH and are adding new models as well as continuing the TWH line so we can only hope this means more of the old TWH models will be re released! They did mention the cranes as well so here's hoping!

Honestly I was hoping tonkin or nzg would produce manitowoc/grove models, I'm still not a big fan of wsi build quality, they put too much effort into detail rather than functionality. Steering being my biggest complaint, if they didn't add so much detail underneath, that no one ever sees, then the tires would have more range of movement.

That's where i will agree to disagree. I would rather have super high detail but slightly less functionality. I can't stand some Conrad models for this reason because some a really nice but lacking fine details that would drive me nuts. Not having tail lights or warning beacons on the trailer but the steering is great is not ok with me. I'd rather have the detail with some steering modeled. I'm more impressed with find details. I also do not like how big Conrad wheels look in comparison to other 1/50 models.

Common misconception. As I was explaining at the time, they did not lose the Nooteboom license per-say. They lost the license to produce certain models, but had these new ones planned for sometime now.

Interesting, a Tonkin tractor with a Sword trailer, hope the detail has come up on the Tonkin Cats.

That CT680 tri axle looks nice but no where near sword quality.
