Hi Ian, thank you for covering Bauma 2025! Model wise the highlight of the show obviously was the LR1400, can't wait to see your review on it. Of all the diecast that was announced this show, my personal favorites were the A909 Mini wheel excavator and the 1/50 Kobelco SK39 mini excavator (not seen in the video). Was also hoping to see models of some smaller Liebherr dozers such as PR716 or PR726 and some more compaction equipment from Wacker, Bomag/Dynapac and Hamm.

Cranes Etc wrote:Mack Titan 'Sid Kamp' The review of this model is now on Cranes Etc. Ian Ian, how does the First Gear Mack Granite compare to the HHR Titan? I have the Granite and it always looked oversized to me compared to the COE European trucks but it is dwarfed by the Drake KW C509 side by side. TIA.

Cranes Etc wrote:Rogers 90T Beam Trailer - De Beradinis The review of this model is now on Cranes Etc. Ian Couple questions about the beam trailer, Ian; at 0:28 it seems as if the taillight is crooked on the black beam trailer, what is the quality control of these? Also noticed that at 4:27 on the opposite side there is a hollowed out hole to which I am assuming is the flag holder, is it installed the wrong way? IMO for the price and small quantities of these models, they should be inspected fully before shipping to check for defects.

Good catch on that one and indeed looks like a defect. Paul R

That light is out of wack. The tail light looks like it didnt get glued into the recessed area for the light correctly. I have the trailer and mine look fine so its not right.
The front "flag holders" are actually holders for the pins that you remove to disconnect the goose neck. Both face the same direction. I thought they were for flags too until I read the instructions that come with the trailers. They do look similiar to the flag holders on the rear so it was confusing.
I belive HHR would replace that trailer or otherwise make it right no questions asked if it was brought it to their attention. They are really good about customer service.

Odd they both face the same way, but whatever works. Looking forward to the orange Mack Titan next month and then the Fontaine lowboy next year. Definitely afraid to see that price tag of the lowboy, imagine it'll be upwards of $400.

I think the inside facing one is because of the spare wheel assembly. http://www.CranesEtc.co.ukhttp://www.Twitter.com/CranesEtchttp://www.YouTube.com/CranesEtcTVCranes Etc on Facebook

Heavy Haul Replicas produces models with impeccable detail and very good quality.
Unfortunately, 100% inspection simply means that each and every piece is inspected, that does not mean there will be no flaws or variations, the human factor remains.
100% inspection is extremely expensive.

I agree with everything you said Randy. I haven't opened my beam trailer yet. I have fallen in love with the Mack Superliner. What a classy rig. The different versions of this model is so realistic too. The Kennedy version is my favorite. But I have five versions. Now, why does the Kennedy version not have air breathers?. Go easy on me. I am old and cranky.! CAW
