Very nice review as usual. I'm still thinking about getting his model. I'd really like one, but the price is quite high (even though it's worth it), besides, I'm narrowing down my colection to a few specific brands / type of models anyway, can't have 'm all... Just a question though, Can the trailer be attached directly to the tractor as well? The fifth wheel coulings on both the dolly and truck seem to be at the same height, so I would think it's possible. I don't know if theyuse it that way in real life though. Perhaps only when driving enpty and the dolly is loaded on the lowloader.

Remko, yes the dolly can be detatched and the float directly attatched, it's a brilliant model and nothing has been missed, I've got 2 of them the gun metal grey and the lampson version I'm very happy with them and can't wait for more models to come from TWH/Drake.

Great review, the TV review really comes into its own for models such as this one which have many features and moving parts that pictures cant portray as well as video.
I think the doolan version is by far the nicest drake rig released so far.

have to say as good as the model is,and it is superb,the whole concept and idea of the TV review is just top class,this is where model reviews are headed for sure,and with a top class production like Ians is leading the way Video killed the photograph star  lol keep them coming Ian

I had no idea that you had a YouTube channel Ian, just subscribed. And I have to agree, those videos give you a much better feel for the model, that Drake model is an absolute stunner! Rowan.

Howdy Ian,
Just wanted to say the video reviews are exactly what collectors like me needed. Outstanding job. my only complaint is that there are so few videos! I use your site a lot to make decisions. Certainly not taking anything away from Brandon's youtube reviews. His are also great. You have both helped me out a bunch. Keep up the great work.
