Thanks for informations in the back of Western 80 Euclid is an Euclid R 50 ( 1LLD ), regarding the other Euclid I want to tell what Euclid model is in the picture near the Manitowoc Excavator I think is the R-45 . Dan

It was upgraded engine wise with the later version having 4 exhaust pipes out of the hood. We rally round the family, with a pocket full of shells.....

Dan The truck been loaded by the Shovel I would think is a newer Euclid in the R40 -R45 ton capacity.The shovel is a Manitowoc 4600 with 6yd bucket.

Hello Dan,
Here is my opinion regarding the Western 80 Euclid: I would buy a second model if your model will be different from the Smith ones, i.e. four exhaust pipes like the later version of the Western 80. Another item will be the price which should be a bit cheaper than the Smith model. The same is with the Euclid R50 and R62. Especially I would like to see the R62 as prime mover and perhaps with additional low boy.
