Jamiescotland wrote:Nice Demag, nice tracks! They suit it very well. I have four Demag 485s, three have those metal tracks. It's a shame they're not available anymore. They were only 38 euros for a set! Brilliant! I've got two other sets for the 2 other DEMAG I've. Do you have the Demag RAL code Jamie? www.ec1000.net

Sorry Pascal, I don't know the actual code, but I use Montana Gold spray paints, and a good match for Demag yellow is Shock Yellow S1010 - https://www.londongraphics.co.uk/montana-gold-acrylic-spray-paint-400ml-shock-yellow-s1010

Ok. In the past I have chosen paint by eye. Some mistakes were made, but most were good. I don't know what grey shade to use for Komatsu/Demag. I painted my tracks for the Komatsu/Demag silver - 1:50 NZG Komatsu Demag H485S mining shovel by ****llection, on Flickr"/> 1:50 NZG Komatsu Demag H485S mining shovel by ****llection, on Flickr"/> I took these photos a long time ago (8 years ago), and I think I have added boom railings and some other details since!
