Here's Caterpillar's super-dozer prototype from 2005 - the D12 XP. Shame they never continued development - it would have been a great challenger for the big Komatsu 575. This one is awaiting Suncor decals. 1:50 CAT D12 XP bulldozer by ****llection, on Flickr"/> 1:50 CAT D12 XP bulldozer by ****llection, on Flickr"/> 1:50 CAT D12 XP bulldozer by ****llection, on Flickr"/>

I bought someone's half-finished build of a 1:35 D9 by MENG on Ebay. They hadn't yet stuck the cab on, so I modified it with a Conrad D10 cab I had spare (does that mean I have a cab-less D10 somewhere?!!) and painted it a very fetching Suncor yellow.

I've been told on Facebook that the tracks are the wrong way round. Will I ever learn?!!! I was going off a photo on the box of an Ertl Deere dozer in 1:16 scale (where the tracks are from), so Ertl must have got it wrong too!!

Just changed the tracks around, and added a couple of extra decals, plus a side grab rail which I'd forgotten!
