Your builds are my absolute favorite, and that includes all the folks I follow on Instagram! I was happy to see you post on the Forum thread this week. I hope everything is going well for you, you're a talented dude.

Thanks! It feels great to be farting around with diecast again, even if they're not big projects. I do have two 1:87 Conrad P&H 2800 shovels which I'm hoping to convert to 1:50 P&H 1400 shovels. I just have to build cabs next which should be fun but slow. Cheers, Jamie

Hi Jamie, I too always love your older hoes which are simply mint and well done. My own problem (beyond time: not retired yet) is space also.
I sometimes wish there was a specific site for selling models (many commented about this forum no longer offering that service), as I am out of social media other than YouTube videos for hobby related stuff (my profile is Ironstef70). I am now more into 1:87 model railroading, but still have excavator and crane projects on the workbench. Time issues, as mentioned.
I guess there are taxation and custom issues related, and just too time consuming for the value added for Chuck...
Still, I always love the posts related to custom stuff as yours. Great work!
Stef

Beautiful! The details are amazing. I wish I could reach such a level of detail. Kerst

Really like those 984's. The older one looks really good. The 984 with sorter grab looks much better, with the cab guard.

Oh Kerst, come on now!!! Your builds are astonishing - creative precision engineering and modelmaking at its best, and you have the patience and vision. As for the 984s, I seem to have quite a few now and each one is slightly different. I should do a group shot. That cab guard came off a Sijam Liebherr 981 shovel (the best part of a generally poor model!)
