Stunning Paul....I live in the middle of lots of huge mines and see these daily....tooo clean mate....LOL That is even when the drivers are very fastidious about their rigs also.

I think I will have to pickup one of these Drake models. I heard good things about them and they look great. I kind of like that "Big Hill Cranes" livery and "Mac Trans".

A Millwright..... in Alberta.

Big Hill Cranes is a nice looking livery, but they no longer operate the trucking business. For this reason I did not buy it. But Drake models are very good and I have my 3 companies I will stick with.

Kobelco SK 1300D LC:

Kobelco SK 1300D LC by Conrad Modelle. Other than painting some pins to match, this is the stock model.
It is heavy and robust, but lacks some details and I am not a huge fan of the hydraulic lines along the boom. Some of the castings are perhaps not as smooth as they could be either.
Rails and platforms fit well and are not loose and I like the positive positioning of the cab as it clicks into various positions, so will not drop.
I may add a GEM attachment for the stick at some point, if a suitable one comes available.
Overall, it is a heavy and impressive models and typical Conrad.

I would love to have this model but it is disappointing in its crude hydraulic lines. I wish Conrad would update the silly looking harnesses they use. A few weeks and $ with Martin will fix it, Paul.

I really like that Chinook load. I think IMC did a great job on that piece. Did you manage to pick up the marine engine as well?
