I've been at it again, this time maybe a step too far. This tractor has seen better days!   1:16 UH Massey Ferguson 135 tractor by ****llection, on Flickr"/>  1:16 UH Massey Ferguson 135 tractor by ****llection, on Flickr"/> Also managed to distress this truck -  1:32 Unimax M142 by ****llection, on Flickr"/> And finally a load of old rusty machines -  Machines in need of some tlc by ****llection, on Flickr"/> Still learning techniques, but it's great fun to do (as long as you don't mind ruining the model in the process!)

Honestly, this old Massey in the fist pic is a masterpiece of weathering.
The truck from that angle seems to do good as well.

Hahaha! Yes it's Chuck waving. Thanks for the comments. The truck is an M142 Rocket Launcher in 1:32 scale by Forces of Valor, but I removed the rocket pod. I thought I might add a flatbed or some service equipment, but haven't decided yet.

Hi Chris! That's funny. I've continued the weathering on it, but still more to do to get it refined and looking more realistic. What was the bare metal paint used on the model? It was excellent!

Thanks Chris, that's great. Never thought I'd pursue weathering but it's great fun and is a way of resurrecting old/knackered models.

I personally,think weathering can enhance a model.Especially when it is a working machine.Sometimes new models,just don't look right,with clean,and fresh lines.

I used to be a fan of the clean look, but when done well weathering looks fantastic. Great work Jamie, really inspirational.
