Nice job Roy!!! I have one sitting on the lowboy being pulled by a DM600 Mack tractor!!! I saw they had re-issued the model kits a few years ago and bought them, I had them back in 1980 when I was in the US Air Force (gave me something to do when I wasn't acting as brakeman on the locomotive at the base I was at)!!!

Dain

I'm a kid at heart, so I will play with any model construction vehicle from 1:87 scale to 1:1 scale!!!!

Age is a state of time NOT a state of mind!!

Very nice !I have two in my stash along with the payhauler. I have moved into 1/25 myself....my eyes are not what they used to be. Anyone who knows the amt line of models will know there was a ford garwood refuse truck model announced in the early 70s but never produce....this winter after almost 50 years its finally hitting the shelves. On another note I have started early drawing of a large cable shovel in 1/25 scale. Was originally going to be a lorain 95 shovel but what I'm using for tracks scales out to a much bigger machine....bucyrus 88b or lima 2400. Not sure if I will ever finish it but hopefully I will.

There was an Ahrens-Fox fire engine announced at that same time. I remember badgering the only shop that carried models weekly until they finally convinced me they weren't getting it.

I wonder, does anyone have a set of these AMT plastic tracks for sale please? I'm adding tracks to a 1:32 Tigercat 870C forest machine and I think they'd be perfect! Let me know, thanks, Jamie
