I had used the compactor wheels of a Norscot CAT 936 for a CCM 988, so made up this compactor using some Hamm 2210 rollers (three models needed, but they were all under a fiver on Ebay in various states of disrepair!). The blade is a 1:32 Volmer silage pusher by UH. Any guesses what the cab's off?!
A fun little project that I had been meaning to finish for a couple of years.

Hi Jamie,

I really like this one! Great use of the Hamm rollers and the blade looks perfect for it. I'd say the cab is of a grader of some sort.

Best regards,

Max

Great looking mix Jamie. Is the cab from Joal CAT 12G? Nice paint work too. CAW

Thanks! Yes it's a Joal CAT 12G grader cab, and yes, the blade is width adjustable (but I've glued on the top grille so it's fixed at its widest now)

Love the franken-build Jamie! It looks legitimately like a proper machine. Nice work. Smiley
