I have to say, it doesn't look bad this way!
The "VA extension" makes it looks surprisingly different from the ordinary AC 500 jib.
One tip: to make it look even more like an AC 1000, add 1 or 2 extra pendants under the luffer. The original usually has very long pendants there,
as seen in the first "real jib" pic you posted
