True reproduction of the ex-French Army tank transporter Berliet TBO15 M3 HC, restored in Dessirier & Zucconi heavy haulage company livery (see also RFSALES post http://forums.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=139485 ):

Differences (front wheel arch and access step to the cab for example) can be noted between the Berliet GRK10 truck in "le trappeur" livery and its successor in the truck manufacturer range (Ets Moge Fres, red cab):

Craig: The Mack tanker is an IXO 1/43 scale model. I have a tractor only. Chuck has one listed but out of stock.
Mack has showed up with other trailers over last 2 years.

Thanks Uncle Roy. Do you think the IXO models are decent ones for the money? The scale is a little too big for me. Craig

Craig,

In the beginning, I was quite suspicious with this range of models but I have to confess that IXO models are pretty well made for the price you pay: to summarize, lots of detail and overall accuracy.
As you said, the problem remains its scale, but it seems that the range is picking-up quite a lot within 1/43 car modellers in Europe lately: days when Eligor was one of the very few companies producing 1/43 French truck models are gone and far behind us.

I hope this helps.

Craig: Try to find a decent Mack B61 model tractor for the same price. I am satisfied with the level of detail for the price.
I don't have room for tractor/trailer sets so tractors only are what I but and display.
I have purchased several IXO models and all are very nice for the price.
