I got inspired by this crane again and started to add the jib. There is a fixed jib and a luffing jib available and they share many basic parts. So I started to make some of the parts that can be used for both. initially i will make the fixed jib and later the more complicated luffing jib.    Kerst

Looks great! I'm glad you are still accessorizing this model, and thanks for sharing. Do you refer to the YCC model at all as part of your research? I'm pretty sure you began this before the YCC came out, and I know that you do all your own research for your other models. Just curious.

Finally I put it all together. Getting all the bits together took quite a bit of time and I had to make a few adjustments to the winch for the luffing jib. yesterday was the day and it worked nicely. I am fairly pleased with the result and how easily the crane handled the luffer. It is testing time now and I am making a list of all the small adjustments that need to be made.    I am looking forward to the Cabin Fever Expo in January 2020. Then I can show it at full height! Ceilings are in the way at home. Kerst
