I bought the trailer assembled then bought the tractor as a kit. Both cane be bought assembled from Start Scale Models. The kits are sold through EBAY under the name AVD. The cab and frame are both metal the rest is plastic. There were problems with the kit as the plastic tress were to long to fit into the box so the tress were snap and when that was done some small parts fell off the trees and some parts were broken. I matched the paint as good as I could used USAF olive drab to paint the tractor.

The tractor trailer combo was designed to haul main battle tanks in 60 to 70 ton range. I don't want to use a military pice so I may look for a excavator/wheel loader for a load.
