Steve,
The truck (partly) shown on the picture is a 32-365 DFA 6x6 MAN of the 1st generation, which came with early Schmitz-Cargobull semi-trailers. It has indeed the same oil cooler behind the cab than mine, which is a heavier 40-440 DFA 6x4 250 tonnes capacity truck. Conrad sold the semi-trailer with a "sort of" 2nd generation tractor (38-372 DFA 6x6s), poorly modeled in 1/50 scale from available 6x4 units (the only improvement being spoke wheels fitted all round).
Don't waste your time looking for the box or the wood plinth. I modify most of my models (this one had its chassis shortened), so no need to collect boxes to get a high value, should I ever resale it.
Cheers. Guy

Thank's Leon, am going to modify it a little and leave it hooked to the Kenworth.

Thanks Guy, that is fascinating. I had never read anything on those trailers, or saw any pictures of them. Thanks for posting, you are a world of knowledge!
