Well finally these are soon to become a reality. A long time in production but well worth the wait. All are 1:48 diecsat and do NOT use any of the old D9H tooling. New castings from the ground up. Take a look at CCM's web-site for further updates and info.

Oh no. I now have to order this with the D8K and the new T800s? And now WSI Kenworth T680s, Petes, and Mack Granites. Be careful what you wish for. Just like the Sopranos say, "Just when I was about to get out of this mess, they pull you back in". I need to sell some models quickly or sit on the sidelines. Now where are my Mammoet trucks? CAW

I personally think if CCM would have produced these G series before they did the H's, there would be more hoopla about them. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they will sell like doughnuts at a fat camp and I wish I could somehow swindle some money away for at least the quad to go with my H quads, the old series would have been better to start the 9's out with.

Given the fact CCM built the D9H a while ago and now, they announced the D8K and D9G, i bet it is only a matter of time before we hear about the D8H...... Regards. Max.
Cat 245.....Now and Forever  I am looking for industrial auction brochures from Ritchie Bros, Miller & Miller, Forke Bros, First Team Auction, Max Rouse, etc from the 70's, 80's and 90's.I am a collector and heavy equipment enthusiast and these pamphlets are loaded with nice pictures of cleaned and freshly painted equipment.Thet don't have much value once the sale is over but they are a great help to me in preserving the memory of machines that are no longer being built.Please, help my hobby by looking in your old storage boxes and file folders for these old auction sale brochures.Your help is much appreciated.

I wonder why a rops and semi U blade werent in the mix? ripper blade? In my life i have never seen one. Have seen many standard crawler, rops and semi U though.. Seems to me kind of an odd choice. Still...ii have an order in for the dd9g...Will look okay next to the 9H dd9. Different but similar

A U blade and a Kelley ripper would have been my first choice. That's the standard configuration for most of the quarries and contractors in Germany of the 60ies and 70ies. I have never seen a Rip Blade in real life, but I have to admit that it looks interesting. Yesterday I stumbled upon these pictures of a D9G with the 9R Blade on Flickr.Photos were taken in 1992. Just got done going over hi-res images of the pre-production samples in the metal of these new D9Gs. Just a few minor corrections and these things will be ready to assemble! I can tell you without a question these models are more finely detailed than the D9Hs (totally different manufacturer). No problems here with the front idler and track rail alignment. They are really nice to behold. No kidding. But they are going fast. The DD9Gs are all spoken for from CCM, and the D9G Rip-Dozer and Pusher are not far behind.

I don't imagine too many of the few that were purchased survived as long as the dozers they were equipped on survived. Just my thoughts.

Just pre ordered the D9G pusher, D8K angle dozer ,992B & KW C500 Premay ,what cool stuff ,worked on all those old Cats back in the day, great stuff

CCM just put up prices for D9G on there web site.
DD9G= $599.00, D9G with Rip Blade= $289.95, D9G with 9C blade= $299.95...
