Hello all,

I have been told by an industry expert that I need to announce which shows we are going to during the year. That seems like a very good idea and we hope you can make it to these and stop by to say hi (and pickup a model or two).

First - DHS will not be able to make it to the BRI show this year. The show is this coming weekend and we have some family responsibilities that preclude us attending. Hope it is a successful show for all who are going and maybe we can make it next year!

The next shows we are attending with displays are the following:

Train Collectors of America (TCA) Fall Show in York, Pennsylvania. The show starts on Thursday, October 19th and runs through Saturday, October 21st. In order to attend on Thursday or Friday you need to be a member or sign in as a guest. Saturday is open to the public! This is a giant show with multiple buildings and covers the entire York Fairgrounds. If you like anything to do with trains, you have to attend this show. DHS is setup in the Orange Hall in Row KK right in the middle of the building. We are close to Atlas Trains if you are familiar with the layout. Here is a link to the show: York TCA Show

DHS will also attend and have a large display at the 100 Years of Progress Ederville Show in Carthage, North Carolina. This show is on November 3rd, 4th and 5th and runs from 8am until dark on all days. We have displayed at this show for the past 4 years and this year the Historical Construction Equipment Association (HCEA) has their annual show in conjunction with this one. This is a show featuring Ken Eder's private collection, which is fantastic to say the least. The place is full of steam powered equipment including a working sawmill, running steam tractors, antique prairie tractors, caterpillar equipment and much more. It is an amazing collection and this year will feature the opening of Ken's new Toy Collection Building. The building houses models from Don Campbell, Jerry Hall, Ron Ketron and Ray Clifford as well as many other model makers and is enclosed in a brand new building. Anyone who likes machinery will love this show. DHS is setup in the Cat Building which is located next to the International Dealership building (yes, there is a full International Dealership Building and a Caterpillar Building on site). Here is a link to the show: 100 Years of Progress Show

You can find past photos from both of these shows on my blog.

That's it for now. We will update this post with more shows as they are confirmed.

Hope to see you at one of these locations!

Chuck

Greetings Chuck,

Thank you for posting the report and look forward to photo coverage of each event you will be attending.
