First, I did not ask permission from the seller to discuss this on the Forum. Anyway, I have contacted him via e-mail and asked several questions. First and foremost, this is a GREAT build. I love this custom Pete. But I cannot figure out how he did it. I thought for sure it was a 379. I know the hood is short and it appears as a 357. But then I looked very carefully at the body of the tractor and everything looks like a 379. The rest of the frame with the axles and wheels is not a problem. He told me that he added the lift axle, the fenders are from a T-800. That's fine. But that body has everything that a Sword Pete 379 comes with. I say he put a 379 body onto a 357 frame. Look at the breathers, the doors, the horns, lights and rack. I just don't know what I am missing. Can you figure out how he converted this to a 357? Going nuts. Might try to win this one, it's so mean looking. CAW http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-50-Sword-WSI-Black-Peterbilt-357-Tractor/182796903957?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

If I am not mistaken, it is a 357 hood and chassis with a 379 Cab. I will see if the previous owner can elaborate Q.
Update: spoke with the previous owner, and the above is correct!

Yeah that's what it is a 357 truck with a 79 cab and tubing slid over the stacks with the accessories from a kw t800 and the lift axle glued into the highest possible position it was mine but I did not build it but I built a yellow one to match it

It was my build, although it originally had a Pete379 bumper on it as well. Feel free to PM me with any questions, Quinella.
